Ghaziabad authorities have intensified their fight against illegal drug sales and trafficking, particularly around educational institutions. Between September 21 and October 22, police arrested 30 individuals in 21 separate narcotics cases. During this period, significant quantities of drugs including ganja, charas, and doda were seized. Additionally, four cases were registered and ten people arrested under the COTPA for tobacco-related offenses. Officials have been directed to maintain strict surveillance and take legal action against violators, emphasizing the need for coordinated enforcement and public awareness.
