This came after an Opposition Chief Whip initially stated BJD supported the INDIA bloc's Odisha Bandh, only to retract the statement within an hour. Party spokesperson Lenin Mohanty stated the BJD neither supports nor opposes the bandh, focusing instead on Odisha's interests. Senior Congress leader Santosh Singh Saluja criticized the BJD's shifting stance, while the BJP expressed no specific reaction.
