18th IDSFFK Opens With Afghan Artist's Film

The 18th International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala (IDSFFK) commenced in Thiruvananthapuram on Friday, September 25, 2026. The festival opened with the documentary 'A Fox Under a Pink Moon,' which chronicles the challenging journey of 16-year-old Afghan artist Soraya. The film highlights her attempts to escape Iran, her experiences with an abusive marriage, and her artistic expressions through drawings and sculptures.

अफगान कलाकार की फिल्म से 18वें IDSFFK का उद्घाटन

केरल का 18वां अंतर्राष्ट्रीय डॉक्यूमेंट्री और शॉर्ट फिल्म फेस्टिवल (IDSFFK) शुक्रवार, 25 सितंबर, 2026 को तिरुवनंतपुरम में शुरू हुआ। इस फेस्टिवल की शुरुआत 'ए फॉक्स अंडर ए पिंक मून' नामक डॉक्यूमेंट्री से हुई। यह फिल्म 16 साल की अफगान कलाकार सोराया के मुश्किल सफर को दिखाती है। फिल्म में ईरान से भागने की उसकी कोशिशें, दुर्व्यवहारिक शादी के अनुभव और चित्र व मूर्तियों के ज़रिए उसकी कला को दर्शाया गया है।
