Congress Curbing BJP's Right To Protest In Telangana, Alleges Union Minister Kishan Reddy

Union minister G Kishan Reddy accused the Congress government in Telangana of curbing the BJP's right to protest. He contrasted alleged restrictions in Telangana with the freedom Congress leaders have in Delhi under the BJP-led central government. Reddy cited the Emergency period and recent protests by Congress leaders in Hyderabad as examples of alleged hypocrisy. He stated that BJP leaders in Telangana have faced house arrest or prevention from protesting on various issues between May and September.

केंद्रीय मंत्री जी किशन रेड्डी ने तेलंगाना की कांग्रेस सरकार पर बीजेपी के विरोध के अधिकार को दबाने का आरोप लगाया है। उन्होंने तेलंगाना में कथित प्रतिबंधों की तुलना बीजेपी-नीत केंद्र सरकार के तहत दिल्ली में कांग्रेस नेताओं की स्वतंत्रता से की। रेड्डी ने कथित पाखंड के उदाहरण के तौर पर आपातकाल की अवधि और हैदराबाद में कांग्रेस नेताओं द्वारा हालिया विरोध प्रदर्शनों का हवाला दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि मई और सितंबर के बीच तेलंगाना में बीजेपी नेताओं को विभिन्न मुद्दों पर नजरबंद रखा गया या विरोध करने से रोका गया।
