बीजेपी और एआईएमआईएम के विधायकों ने कोर अर्बन रीजन (इंटीग्रेटेड गवर्नेंस) बिल, 2026 पर कड़ा ऐतराज जताया है। उनका कहना है कि प्रॉपर्टी टैक्स का नया सिस्टम, जो सालाना किराये के बजाय कैपिटल वैल्यू पर आधारित है, टैक्स को हर साल दोगुना कर देगा। साथ ही, मुख्यमंत्री के नेतृत्व वाली गवर्निंग काउंसिल में शक्तियों के केंद्रीकरण से चुनी हुई संस्थाओं के कमजोर होने की चिंता भी जताई गई है।
