Unesco Team Reviews Hampi Heritage Site Conservation Efforts

A Unesco-ICOMOS mission arrived in Hampi on Saturday to inspect heritage monuments and review conservation measures, tourism infrastructure, and development plans for the World Heritage site. The delegation includes international experts and officials from the Archaeological Survey of India. They will examine monument conservation, future regulations, and tourist facilities, discussing comprehensive master plans for Hampi and surrounding areas. Meetings are scheduled with state government officials, ASI, and local authorities to cover integrated management plans and crowd management at Virupaksha Temple.

एक यूनेस्को-आई.सी.ओ.एम.ओ.एस. मिशन शनिवार को विश्व धरोहर स्थल के लिए विरासत स्मारकों का निरीक्षण करने और संरक्षण उपायों, पर्यटन बुनियादी ढांचे और विकास योजनाओं की समीक्षा करने के लिए हम्पी पहुंचा। प्रतिनिधिमंडल में अंतरराष्ट्रीय विशेषज्ञ और भारतीय पुरातत्व सर्वेक्षण के अधिकारी शामिल हैं। वे स्मारक संरक्षण, भविष्य के नियमों और पर्यटक सुविधाओं की जांच करेंगे, साथ ही हम्पी और आसपास के क्षेत्रों के लिए व्यापक मास्टर प्लान पर चर्चा करेंगे। विरुपाक्ष मंदिर में एकीकृत प्रबंधन योजनाओं और भीड़ प्रबंधन को कवर करने के लिए राज्य सरकार के अधिकारियों, ए.एस.आई. और स्थानीय अधिकारियों के साथ बैठकें निर्धारित हैं।
