Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah praised the BRICS New Delhi Declaration, highlighting the mention of Pahalgam as a success for India's foreign policy. He noted that despite Pakistan's allies being present, Pahalgam was condemned by name. The 18th BRICS Summit unanimously adopted the 45-page New Delhi Declaration 2026, which included a point condemning terrorism and specifically censuring the April 22, 2025, terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir that killed 26 people.

जम्मू और कश्मीर के मुख्यमंत्री उमर अब्दुल्ला ने BRICS नई दिल्ली घोषणा की तारीफ की। उन्होंने कहा कि इसमें पहलगाम का ज़िक्र भारत की विदेश नीति की बड़ी कामयाबी है। पाकिस्तान के दोस्त वहां थे, फिर भी पहलगाम की निंदा की गई। 18वें BRICS शिखर सम्मेलन में 45 पन्नों की नई दिल्ली घोषणा 2026 को सर्वसम्मति से अपनाया गया, जिसमें आतंकवाद की निंदा और जम्मू-कश्मीर में 22 अप्रैल 2025 को हुए आतंकी हमले की कड़ी भर्त्सना शामिल थी, जिसमें 26 लोग मारे गए थे।
