Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi represented President Xi Jinping at a Brics gala dinner hosted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. Xi, who attended the summit and held bilateral talks with Modi earlier, reportedly returned to his hotel to rest. The dinner, held at Bharat Mandapam, was attended by other Brics leaders and delegates. During their meeting, Xi and Modi discussed the long-term strategic perspective of China-India relations and committed.
