Jaishankar Warns Against Politicising Energy Flows At G20

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has called for reducing political interference in energy markets and diversifying global supply chains, stating that disruptions disproportionately burden developing countries. Speaking at the G20 foreign ministers' meeting, he highlighted that geopolitical conflicts are having global ramifications and stressed the need for diplomatic pathways. Jaishankar warned that the politicisation of energy flows is harmful, with the Global South bearing the brunt of energy shortages.

विदेश मंत्री एस जयशंकर ने ऊर्जा बाज़ारों में राजनीतिक दखलअंदाज़ी कम करने और वैश्विक आपूर्ति श्रृंखलाओं में विविधता लाने की बात कही है। उन्होंने कहा कि इससे विकासशील देशों पर बोझ पड़ता है। G20 विदेश मंत्रियों की बैठक में उन्होंने कहा कि भू-राजनीतिक संघर्षों का असर पूरी दुनिया पर पड़ रहा है और कूटनीतिक रास्ते निकालने की ज़रूरत है। जयशंकर ने चेतावनी दी कि ऊर्जा प्रवाह का राजनीतिकरण नुकसानदायक है और ग्लोबल साउथ को ऊर्जा की कमी का सबसे ज़्यादा खामियाज़ा भुगतना पड़ रहा है।
