YouTuber Dhruv Rathee Faces Two Defamation Cases In Delhi

YouTuber Dhruv Rathee is facing two separate defamation proceedings in Delhi. A new suit was filed at Saket court over a video allegedly claiming Lord Ram and Goddess Sita consumed meat and alcohol during their exile. The Delhi High Court had previously directed YouTube to remove the original video. Separately, Rathee received fresh summons in a 2018 criminal defamation case filed by BJP IT Cell member Vikas Pandey over a video titled 'BJP IT Cell Part 2'. The complainants in the new suit stated the video hurt their religious sentiments.

यूट्यूबर ध्रुव राठी दिल्ली में दो अलग-अलग मानहानि की कार्यवाही का सामना कर रहे हैं। साकेत कोर्ट में एक नया मुकदमा दायर किया गया है, जिसमें कथित तौर पर एक वीडियो में भगवान राम और देवी सीता द्वारा निर्वासन के दौरान मांस और शराब का सेवन करने का दावा किया गया है। दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट ने पहले ही YouTube को मूल वीडियो हटाने का निर्देश दिया था। इसके अलावा, राठी को BJP IT Cell के सदस्य विकास पांडे द्वारा 'BJP IT Cell Part 2' नामक वीडियो के संबंध में 2018 के आपराधिक मानहानि मामले में नए समन मिले हैं। नए मुकदमे में शिकायतकर्ताओं ने कहा कि वीडियो ने उनकी धार्मिक भावनाओं को ठेस पहुंचाई है।
