The Indian Army has launched 'Bharat Rice', a superior-quality rice initiative for soldiers stationed in far-flung and border areas. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh stated this initiative embodies the spirit of 'Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan', connecting farmers' hard work to soldiers' strength. The rice will be milled to defence specifications, undergo quality checks, and be supplied in ergonomic packaging for easier handling and transportation. This move aims to enhance soldiers' operational readiness and morale by ensuring healthy food, especially in harsh conditions.

भारतीय सेना ने दूर-दराज और सीमावर्ती इलाकों में तैनात सैनिकों के लिए 'भारत राइस' नाम से एक बेहतर गुणवत्ता वाले चावल की पहल शुरू की है। रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने कहा कि यह पहल 'जय जवान, जय किसान' की भावना को दर्शाती है, जो किसानों की मेहनत को सैनिकों की ताकत से जोड़ती है। चावल को रक्षा विनिर्देशों के अनुसार पीसा जाएगा, गुणवत्ता जांच से गुजरेगा और आसान हैंडलिंग और परिवहन के लिए एर्गोनोमिक पैकेजिंग में आपूर्ति की जाएगी। इस कदम का उद्देश्य कठोर परिस्थितियों में, विशेष रूप से स्वस्थ भोजन सुनिश्चित करके सैनिकों की परिचालन तत्परता और मनोबल को बढ़ाना है।
