North Western Railway (NWR) has introduced 13 pairs of special trains and extended 25 existing services to manage the anticipated travel surge during the Durga Puja, Dussehra, and Diwali festive season. Despite these efforts, passenger demand continues to exceed availability, leading to lengthy waiting lists for many popular routes. The new trains will connect Rajasthan with major cities like Prayagraj, Patna, and Mumbai, with services planned from stations including Jaipur and Jodhpur.
