Airbus A321 neo Fuselage Coating Issue Affects IndiGo

Airbus has identified a surface coating issue on the fuselage of numerous A321 neo aircraft. Around a dozen IndiGo planes are impacted by this quality deviation, which affects the lower front section of the fuselage. Air India's fleet of A321 neos remains unaffected. Airbus stated the issue is not a safety concern and that a remedy is available, with affected aircraft able to continue operations. The necessary rework, involving repainting parts of the fuselage, must be completed within two years.
