Home Guard Strangles Wife and Daughter Over Domestic Disputes

A 56-year-old home guard in Lucknow, Ravindra Shankar Sahu, has confessed to strangling his wife and 32-year-old daughter due to prolonged domestic disputes and mental stress. He allegedly gave them sleeping pills in tea before committing the murders using a mobile charging cable. Sahu then informed the police about the killings and was arrested. His younger daughter and granddaughter survived as their room was locked from the inside. The accused expressed regret and sought forgiveness during questioning.

लखनऊ में 56 साल के होमगार्ड रविंद्र शंकर साहू ने लंबे समय से चल रहे घरेलू झगड़ों और मानसिक तनाव के कारण अपनी पत्नी और 32 साल की बेटी की गला घोंटकर हत्या करने की बात कबूल की है। उसने कथित तौर पर हत्या करने से पहले चाय में नींद की गोलियां दीं और फिर मोबाइल चार्जिंग केबल से गला घोंट दिया। साहू ने बाद में पुलिस को हत्याओं के बारे में सूचित किया और उसे गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया। उसकी छोटी बेटी और पोती बच गईं क्योंकि उनका कमरा अंदर से बंद था। आरोपी ने पूछताछ के दौरान पछतावा जताया और माफी मांगी।
