Delhi Police Orders Internet Shutdown Near Janpath–Kartavya Path For Protest

The Indian government has ordered a temporary suspension of internet services within a 4-kilometer radius of the Janpath–Kartavya Path crossing in New Delhi. This measure is in effect from 10 PM on October 9 to 10 PM on October 10. The Delhi Police has issued instructions to suspend all forms of mobile internet technology. These preventive actions are being taken in anticipation of protests called by various opposition outfits, including the INDIA bloc and the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP). The shutdown aims to maintain public order during the planned demonstrations.

भारत सरकार ने नई दिल्ली में जनपथ-कर्तव्य पथ क्रॉसिंग के 4 किलोमीटर के दायरे में इंटरनेट सेवाओं को अस्थायी रूप से निलंबित करने का आदेश दिया है। यह उपाय 9 अक्टूबर को रात 10 बजे से 10 अक्टूबर को रात 10 बजे तक प्रभावी रहेगा। दिल्ली पुलिस ने सभी प्रकार की मोबाइल इंटरनेट तकनीक को निलंबित करने के निर्देश जारी किए हैं। ये निवारक कार्रवाई INDIA गठबंधन और कॉकरोच जनता पार्टी (CJP) सहित विभिन्न विपक्षी दलों द्वारा बुलाए गए विरोध प्रदर्शनों की आशंका में की जा रही है। इस शटडाउन का उद्देश्य नियोजित प्रदर्शनों के दौरान सार्वजनिक व्यवस्था बनाए रखना है।
