Trump Suggests New Negotiator for Ukraine Peace Talks, Clashing With Zelenskyy

US President Donald Trump has publicly stated that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy should have settled the war with Russia much earlier and suggested it might be time for someone else to negotiate on Kyiv's behalf. Trump has criticized Zelenskyy for several days, calling him a "warmonger" and claiming he does not want to end the conflict. Zelenskyy, in turn, informed US senators that decisions by the Trump administration, including delayed arms shipments and restricted intelligence sharing, are difficult to explain between allies.
