The Uttar Pradesh government has launched a significant initiative to preserve and beautify statues of national and eminent personalities across the state. This project, named the ‘Dr. BR Ambedkar Statue Development Scheme’, aims to protect these monuments from vandalism and neglect by providing them with shelters and boundary walls. The scheme will cover 4,030 statue sites in all 403 assembly constituencies, with an allocated budget of ₹403 crore. Each site will receive an average of ₹10 lakh for development, fostering respect for great figures among the youth.

उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार ने राज्य भर में राष्ट्रीय और जानी-मानी हस्तियों की मूर्तियों के संरक्षण और सुंदरीकरण के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण पहल शुरू की है। ‘डॉ. बीआर अंबेडकर मूर्ति विकास योजना’ नामक इस परियोजना का उद्देश्य इन स्मारकों को आश्रय और चारदीवारी प्रदान करके तोड़फोड़ और उपेक्षा से बचाना है। यह योजना सभी 403 विधानसभा क्षेत्रों में 4,030 मूर्ति स्थलों को कवर करेगी, जिसके लिए ₹403 करोड़ का बजट आवंटित किया गया है। प्रत्येक स्थल को विकास के लिए औसतन ₹10 लाख मिलेंगे, जिससे युवाओं में महान हस्तियों के प्रति सम्मान बढ़ेगा।
