Himachal CM Launches 'Pangi Apple' Brand To Boost Local Economy

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has launched the 'Pangi Apple' brand to promote naturally grown apples and boost the economy of the remote Pangi sub-division in Chamba district. Pangi has been declared the state's first natural farming sub-division, aiming to promote chemical-free agriculture. This initiative introduces customised 20-kg and 10-kg cartons for Pangi apples, supplied to farmers at a 50% subsidy. The goal is to improve market recognition, support natural produce, and increase earnings for approximately 6,300 farming households.

हिमाचल प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री सुखविंदर सिंह सुक्खू ने चंबा जिले के दूरदराज के पंगी उप-मंडल के सेब को बढ़ावा देने और अर्थव्यवस्था को मजबूत करने के लिए 'पंगी एप्पल' ब्रांड लॉन्च किया है। पंगी को राज्य का पहला प्राकृतिक खेती उप-मंडल घोषित किया गया है, जिसका उद्देश्य रसायन-मुक्त खेती को बढ़ावा देना है। इस पहल के तहत, पंगी सेब के लिए विशेष 20-किलोग्राम और 10-किलोग्राम के कार्टन पेश किए गए हैं, जो किसानों को 50% सब्सिडी पर उपलब्ध कराए जाएंगे। इसका लक्ष्य लगभग 6,300 किसान परिवारों की आय बढ़ाने, प्राकृतिक उपज को बाजार में पहचान दिलाने और उनका समर्थन करना है।
