Man Killed by Tiger After Entering Pench Tiger Reserve Core Area

A 46-year-old man, identified as Vijay, was killed by a tiger in the Pench Tiger Reserve's core area in Chhindwara district on Saturday. Vijay and his relatives had allegedly bypassed barriers and jumped over a wall to enter the restricted zone to collect forest produce. Forest officials confirmed the death and have warned villagers against unauthorized entry into tiger-frequented areas. Legal proceedings have begun, and the department is taking action as per rules, urging people to respect security measures to prevent human-wildlife conflict.

शनिवार को छिंदवाड़ा जिले के पेंच टाइगर रिजर्व के कोर एरिया में बाघ ने 46 वर्षीय विजय नाम के व्यक्ति को मार डाला। विजय और उसके रिश्तेदार कथित तौर पर जंगल से उपज इकट्ठा करने के लिए प्रतिबंधित क्षेत्र में घुसने के वास्ते बैरिकेड्स को दरकिनार कर दीवार फांद गए थे। वन अधिकारियों ने मौत की पुष्टि की है और ग्रामीणों को बाघ-बाहुल्य इलाकों में अनधिकृत प्रवेश के खिलाफ चेतावनी दी है। कानूनी कार्यवाही शुरू कर दी गई है, और विभाग नियमों के अनुसार कार्रवाई कर रहा है, लोगों से मानव-वन्यजीव संघर्ष को रोकने के लिए सुरक्षा उपायों का सम्मान करने का आग्रह किया है।
