Wife and Lover Allegedly Murder Labourer, Dump Body in Dehradun Forest Ravine

A labourer from Bihar was allegedly murdered by his wife, Meena Devi, and her purported lover, Lallan Sharma, who then dumped his body in a forest ravine in Dehradun. Police arrested the couple, both natives of Bihar's Saharsa district, after recovering the victim's body with neck injuries. Sharma confessed to the crime, stating that the victim had discovered their two-year relationship. Meena allegedly lured the victim to the forest under the guise of drinking, where Sharma attacked him. The murder weapon was recovered from near the crime scene.

बिहार का एक मजदूर अपनी पत्नी मीना देवी और कथित प्रेमी लल्लन शर्मा द्वारा कथित तौर पर मारा गया था, जिन्होंने फिर उसके शव को देहरादून के जंगल की खाई में फेंक दिया। पुलिस ने दोनों को बिहार के सहरसा जिले का मूल निवासी बताया और पीड़ित का शव गर्दन पर चोट के निशान के साथ बरामद किया। शर्मा ने अपराध कबूल कर लिया, यह बताते हुए कि पीड़ित ने उनके दो साल के रिश्ते का पता लगा लिया था। कथित तौर पर मीना ने पीड़ित को पीने के बहाने जंगल में बुलाया, जहाँ शर्मा ने उस पर हमला किया। हत्या का हथियार अपराध स्थल के पास से बरामद किया गया।
