Margot Robbie's 'Neighbours' Episodes Repackaged Using AI

Times of India · entertainment

Episodes of the Australian soap opera 'Neighbours' featuring Margot Robbie are being transformed into vertical microdramas for mobile viewers using AI. RoseBerry Media's Epis platform is employing a tool called RedSnapper to rework original footage, focusing initially on Robbie's character, Donna Freedman. This initiative has drawn criticism from former cast members like Stefan Dennis and Matthew Werkmeister, who deem it invasive and question the use of their likenesses without explicit consent, especially given their original contracts were signed before AI technology was prevalent.
