Congress Demands MP Govt Accountability For Child Deaths

The Congress party has demanded accountability from the Madhya Pradesh BJP government for the deaths of over 35 tribal children in Balaghat and more than 50 people in a spurious liquor tragedy in Sagar. They are seeking the resignations of State Health Minister Rajendra Shukla and Excise Minister Jagdish Devda. The party also demanded compensation of ₹1 crore and a government job for each affected family, citing failures in health and administrative systems.

मध्य प्रदेश में कांग्रेस ने बालाघाट में 35 से ज़्यादा आदिवासी बच्चों की मौत और सागर में ज़हरीली शराब से 50 से ज़्यादा लोगों की मौत के लिए बीजेपी सरकार से जवाब मांगा है। पार्टी ने स्वास्थ्य मंत्री राजेंद्र शुक्ला और आबकारी मंत्री जगदीश देवड़ा से इस्तीफे की मांग की है। कांग्रेस ने हर पीड़ित परिवार को ₹1 करोड़ मुआवज़ा और सरकारी नौकरी देने की भी मांग की है, और स्वास्थ्य व प्रशासनिक व्यवस्थाओं की विफलता को ज़िम्मेदार ठहराया है।
