The Bombay High Court has strongly criticized the casual approach of government officials, reminding them that they are public servants and not masters. Justices Anil Pansare and Nivedita Mehta of the Nagpur bench expressed displeasure over a senior bureaucrat's failure to comply with court orders regarding employment conditions. The court has directed the secretary of the rural development and panchayat raj department to file an affidavit.
