Muskan, who was sentenced to death in the sensational Saurabh Rajput murder case in Meerut, is preparing to appeal the district court's decision in the High Court. The jail administration has initiated the process to provide her with a government lawyer, as per her request to challenge the verdict from within prison. Muskan, along with her lover Sahil, had allegedly conspired to kill her husband Saurabh and dispose of his body in a blue drum filled with cement.

मेरठ के सनसनीखेज सौरभ राजपूत हत्याकांड में मौत की सजा पाने वाली मुस्कान, जिला अदालत के फैसले को हाई कोर्ट में चुनौती देने की तैयारी कर रही हैं। जेल प्रशासन ने जेल से ही फैसले को चुनौती देने की उसकी अर्जी पर सरकारी वकील मुहैया कराने की प्रक्रिया शुरू कर दी है। मुस्कान पर आरोप है कि उसने अपने प्रेमी साहिल के साथ मिलकर अपने पति सौरभ की हत्या की और उसके शव को सीमेंट से भरे नीले ड्रम में ठिकाने लगा दिया था।
