Delhi Govt Schools To Get Medical Rooms With Health Workers

Delhi's government schools will soon feature medical rooms and first-aid facilities, as announced by Education Minister Ashish Sood. All 1,086 schools under the Directorate of Education will be equipped with these rooms, costing approximately ₹48.87 crore annually. Trained health workers, such as ANMs or multipurpose health workers, will be deployed to provide immediate primary care for minor injuries, dizziness, or sudden illnesses.

दिल्ली के सरकारी स्कूलों में जल्द ही मेडिकल रूम और फर्स्ट-एड की सुविधाएँ होंगी। शिक्षा मंत्री आशीष सूद ने यह घोषणा की है। शिक्षा निदेशालय के तहत आने वाले सभी 1,086 स्कूलों में ये कमरे बनाए जाएंगे। इसमें हर साल करीब 48.87 करोड़ रुपये का खर्च आएगा। प्रशिक्षित स्वास्थ्य कार्यकर्ता, जैसे ANM या मल्टीपर्पस हेल्थ वर्कर, छोटी-मोटी चोटों, चक्कर आने या अचानक बीमार पड़ने पर तुरंत प्राथमिक देखभाल के लिए तैनात किए जाएंगे।
