Jefferies Initiates Buy Call on NSE, Cites Growth Levers and Easing Regulatory Pressure
Business Standard · stocks
Global investment bank Jefferies has initiated coverage on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) with a 'buy' call, targeting a 17 per cent upside. The brokerage believes that easing regulatory headwinds and new growth opportunities will drive earnings expansion for the exchange. Jefferies anticipates a decline in the contribution of equity options to NSE's revenue, projecting new products like commodity F&O and a mutual fund ordering platform to drive future growth. Growing equity participation from younger cohorts is also seen as a key growth lever.
