Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta launched the 'Durga' scheme's digital portal to empower women and transgender individuals through self-employment. The initiative allows beneficiaries to become owners and drivers of electric 'Pink Autos', fostering economic independence and providing dignified employment. In the first phase, 1,300 pink e-autos will be allocated, with 1,170 for women and 130 for transgender people. The scheme aims to enhance financial empowerment and integrate beneficiaries into safe transportation services, with specific eligibility criteria including age, residency, driving licenses, and income limits.

दिल्ली की मुख्यमंत्री रेखा गुप्ता ने महिलाओं और ट्रांसजेंडर व्यक्तियों को स्वरोजगार के माध्यम से सशक्त बनाने के लिए 'दुर्गा' योजना का डिजिटल पोर्टल लॉन्च किया। इस पहल से लाभार्थी इलेक्ट्रिक 'पिंक ऑटो' की मालकिन और ड्राइवर बन सकेंगी, जिससे आर्थिक स्वतंत्रता को बढ़ावा मिलेगा और गरिमापूर्ण रोजगार मिलेगा। पहले चरण में 1,300 पिंक ई-ऑटो आवंटित किए जाएंगे, जिनमें से 1,170 महिलाओं के लिए और 130 ट्रांसजेंडर लोगों के लिए होंगे। इस योजना का उद्देश्य वित्तीय सशक्तिकरण को बढ़ाना और लाभार्थियों को सुरक्षित परिवहन सेवाओं में एकीकृत करना है, जिसमें आयु, निवास, ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस और आय सीमा सहित विशिष्ट पात्रता मानदंड शामिल हैं।
