Pune Police Personnel Booked For Parading Minors

The CID has registered cases against 17 police personnel from Pune's Bharati Vidyapeeth police station. Eleven personnel are accused of illegally detaining and parading minor boys on July 21 for an alleged murder. Separately, 13 personnel face charges for parading three youths on July 5. These actions were taken following directives from the Maharashtra State Human Rights Commission, which investigated the alleged illegal detention and public assault of the minors.

पुणे के भारती विद्यापीठ पुलिस स्टेशन के 17 पुलिसकर्मियों के खिलाफ CID ने केस दर्ज किया है। 11 लोगों पर 21 जुलाई को कथित हत्या के मामले में नाबालिग लड़कों को अवैध रूप से हिरासत में रखने और परेड कराने का आरोप है। वहीं, 13 लोगों पर 5 जुलाई को तीन युवकों की परेड कराने का आरोप है। यह कार्रवाई महाराष्ट्र राज्य मानवाधिकार आयोग के निर्देश पर हुई है, जिसने नाबालिगों को अवैध हिरासत और सार्वजनिक पिटाई की जांच की थी।
