Speeding Truck Kills 30-Year-Old Woman At Mumbai's JVLR Junction; Driver Held

A 30-year-old woman, Lakshmi Shirkul, was tragically killed by a speeding tempo while crossing the road at Mumbai's JVLR junction on Thursday night. She was returning from a birthday celebration with colleagues when the incident occurred. The tempo driver, Ramakant Yadav, fled the scene but was apprehended within three hours by Jogeshwari police using CCTV footage. Shirkul was declared brought dead at the hospital due to severe injuries. The driver has confessed to his involvement in the accident.

मुंबई के जेवीएलआर जंक्शन पर गुरुवार रात सड़क पार कर रही 30 वर्षीय महिला लक्ष्मी शिरकुल को एक तेज रफ्तार टेम्पो ने कुचल दिया। वह सहकर्मियों के साथ जन्मदिन की पार्टी से लौट रही थी जब यह हादसा हुआ। टेम्पो चालक, रमाकांत यादव, मौके से फरार हो गया था, लेकिन जोगेश्वरी पुलिस ने सीसीटीवी फुटेज का इस्तेमाल कर तीन घंटे के भीतर उसे पकड़ लिया। गंभीर चोटों के कारण शिरकुल को अस्पताल में मृत घोषित कर दिया गया था। चालक ने दुर्घटना में अपनी संलिप्तता कबूल कर ली है।
