Responding to questions about clashes between Indian and Chinese troops in Arunachal Pradesh, MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal indicated that the situation deteriorates when the Chinese military deviates from established patrol methods. When pressed for details on the recent face-offs reported by the ITBP Director General, Jaiswal advised seeking information from the Ministry of Defence.
