Gudur MPTC Poll Nominations File Peacefully Amid Tight Security After Initial Clashes

The nomination process for MPTC polls in Gudur constituency's five mandals concluded peacefully on Friday, following initial clashes between TDP and YSRCP cadres. Despite tight police security, the process saw TDP candidates submit 32 nominations, while YSRCP filed only one. YSRCP leaders alleged police brutality and obstruction, accusing authorities of preventing their nominations. However, the Superintendent of Police stated that all candidates filed nominations without fear and that police acted impartially. The District Collector also instructed officials to address any complaints regarding nomination filing obstructions.

गुदुर निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के पांच मंडलों में एम.पी.टी.सी. चुनावों के लिए नामांकन प्रक्रिया शुक्रवार को TDP और YSRCP कार्यकर्ताओं के बीच शुरुआती झड़पों के बाद शांतिपूर्ण ढंग से संपन्न हुई। कड़ी पुलिस सुरक्षा के बावजूद, इस प्रक्रिया में TDP उम्मीदवारों ने 32 नामांकन दाखिल किए, जबकि YSRCP ने केवल एक दाखिल किया। YSRCP नेताओं ने पुलिस की बर्बरता और बाधा डालने का आरोप लगाया, अधिकारियों पर उनके नामांकन को रोकने का आरोप लगाया। हालांकि, पुलिस अधीक्षक ने कहा कि सभी उम्मीदवारों ने बिना किसी डर के नामांकन दाखिल किए और पुलिस ने निष्पक्ष रूप से काम किया। जिला कलेक्टर ने अधिकारियों को नामांकन दाखिल करने में बाधाओं से संबंधित किसी भी शिकायत का समाधान करने का निर्देश भी दिया।
