Son Kills Farmer Father in Bihar's Samastipur, Mimicking 'Drishyam' Movie Plot

TV9 Hindi · india

Police in Bihar's Samastipur have busted a murder plot eerily similar to the Bollywood film 'Drishyam'. A son, working in Surat, traveled 2000 km to his village and brutally murdered his farmer father with an axe over a land dispute. To mislead investigators, the accused had switched off his mobile in Surat, making it appear he was still in Gujarat. However, a crucial call made to his wife just before the murder exposed his location and foiled his plan. The son confessed to the crime after his arrest in Surat.
