Rajasthan: IPS Officer Removed Days After IAS Husband's Probe

Rajasthan's government has placed senior IPS officer Prashakha Mathur on awaiting posting orders, following similar action against her husband, IAS officer Shikhar Agrawal. Agrawal faces an Anti-Corruption Bureau investigation into alleged irregularities concerning the purchase of 40 villas and cottages. Mathur also has some of these properties registered in her name. The ACB investigation will examine property transactions, alleged benefits to a private company, and potential losses to the state exchequer. Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has called for a CBI and ED probe.

राजस्थान: पति के खिलाफ़ जांच के कुछ दिनों बाद वरिष्ठ IPS अधिकारी को हटाया गया

राजस्थान सरकार ने वरिष्ठ IPS अधिकारी प्रशखा माथुर को प्रतीक्षाधीन नियुक्ति आदेशों पर रखा है, यह उनके पति, IAS अधिकारी शिखर अग्रवाल के खिलाफ़ इसी तरह की कार्रवाई के बाद हुआ है। अग्रवाल 40 विला और कॉटेज की खरीद से जुड़ी कथित अनियमितताओं की एंटी-करप्शन ब्यूरो (ACB) जांच का सामना कर रहे हैं। माथुर के नाम पर भी इनमें से कुछ संपत्तियां पंजीकृत हैं। ACB की जांच संपत्ति के लेन-देन, एक निजी कंपनी को कथित लाभ और राज्य के खजाने को संभावित नुकसान की जांच करेगी। पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत ने CBI और ED जांच की मांग की है।
