बॉम्बे हाई कोर्ट की कोल्हापुर बेंच में एक जनहित याचिका दायर की गई है, जिसमें महाराष्ट्र सरकार से 14 राज्य निकायों में खाली पदों को भरने का आग्रह किया गया है। याचिका में कहा गया है कि इन रिक्तियों से लगभग चार लाख उम्मीदवार और महाराष्ट्र लोक सेवा आयोग (MPSC), राज्य मानवाधिकार आयोग और लोकायुक्त जैसे संस्थानों के कामकाज पर असर पड़ रहा है। अकेले MPSC में 270 में से 92 पद खाली हैं, जिससे परीक्षा कार्यक्रम और भर्ती पारदर्शिता पर असर पड़ सकता है।
