Pune: Mob Thwarts Attempted Kidnapping of 18-Year-Old Girl

An 18-year-old woman in Pune narrowly escaped an attempted kidnapping while waiting for a friend. The accused, identified as 30-year-old Jitu Kishorilal Saroj, allegedly grabbed her and tried to drag her away near Samarth Dairy on the Katraj-Kondhwa Road. The victim's screams alerted locals who rushed to the scene. The angry crowd apprehended the perpetrator and subjected him to a beating before handing him over to the police. Bharti Vidyapeeth police are currently investigating the incident.

पुणे में 18 साल की एक लड़की बाल-बाल बच गई जब वह एक दोस्त का इंतज़ार कर रही थी। आरोपी, जिसकी पहचान 30 साल के जीतू किशोरीलाल सरोज के रूप में हुई है, कथित तौर पर उसे कटराज-कोंढवा रोड पर समर्थ डेरी के पास पकड़कर घसीटने की कोशिश कर रहा था। पीड़िता की चीख सुनकर स्थानीय लोग मौके पर पहुंचे। गुस्साई भीड़ ने आरोपी को पकड़ लिया और पुलिस को सौंपने से पहले उसकी पिटाई की। भारती विद्यापीठ पुलिस फिलहाल इस घटना की जांच कर रही है।
