Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma laid the foundation stone for Adani Power's 3,200 MW thermal power plant in Dhubri district. This project represents one of the largest private investments in Assam's history, with an estimated Rs 48,000 crore investment. The plant is expected to significantly boost the state's power generation capacity and create substantial employment opportunities, potentially up to 20,000 jobs during construction and 5,000 permanent roles.

असम के मुख्यमंत्री हिमंत बिस्वा सरमा ने धुबरी जिले में Adani Power के 3,200 MW के थर्मल पावर प्लांट का शिलान्यास किया। यह प्रोजेक्ट असम के इतिहास में सबसे बड़े निजी निवेशों में से एक है, जिसमें करीब 48,000 करोड़ रुपये लगेंगे। इससे राज्य की बिजली उत्पादन क्षमता बढ़ेगी और निर्माण के दौरान 20,000 तक और स्थायी रूप से 5,000 नौकरियां मिलेंगी।
