Durga Puja Celebrations Peak in Kanpur With 370 Idols Installed

Durga Puja celebrations reached their zenith in Kanpur on Saturday, Maha Saptami, with the installation of Goddess Durga idols at approximately 370 pandals across the city. Devotees participated in traditional rituals, offered prayers, and enjoyed devotional songs. Several locations also hosted cultural programs and special bhog. The Sri Barwari Durga Puja Committee, maintaining a 160-year-old tradition, focused on traditional rituals, bringing artisans from Kolkata. The Sarvajanik Durga Puja Committee at Armapur Estate marked its 84th idol installation, with significant participation from women devotees.

शनिवार, महा सप्तमी को कानपुर में दुर्गा पूजा का उत्सव अपने चरम पर पहुँच गया, जब शहर भर के लगभग 370 पंडालों में माँ दुर्गा की मूर्तियों की स्थापना की गई। भक्तों ने पारंपरिक अनुष्ठानों में भाग लिया, पूजा-अर्चना की और भक्ति गीतों का आनंद लिया। कई स्थानों पर सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम और विशेष भोग का भी आयोजन किया गया। श्री बरवारी दुर्गा पूजा समिति ने 160 साल पुरानी परंपरा को बनाए रखते हुए, कोलकाता से कारीगरों को बुलाकर पारंपरिक अनुष्ठानों पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया। आर्मपुर एस्टेट में सार्वजनिक दुर्गा पूजा समिति ने अपनी 84वीं मूर्ति स्थापना का जश्न मनाया, जिसमें महिला भक्तों की महत्वपूर्ण भागीदारी देखी गई।
