Dr. Nandan Singh from the Krishi Vigyan Kendra emphasized that soil testing helps in determining the balanced use of fertilizers, thereby reducing farming costs and increasing yield. He also recommended using high-quality seeds of improved varieties like DBW 187, DBW 222, and HD 2967, which can boost production by 20-25%. Sowing in November with temperatures between 20-25 degrees Celsius, using modern techniques like zero-till machines, further enhances germination and saves costs.

आगामी रबी सीजन से पहले, कृषि विशेषज्ञ गेहूं किसानों को बुवाई से पहले मिट्टी की जांच कराने की सलाह दे रहे हैं। कृषि विज्ञान केंद्र के डॉ. नंदन सिंह ने जोर देकर कहा कि मिट्टी की जांच से उर्वरकों के संतुलित उपयोग का पता चलता है, जिससे खेती की लागत कम होती है और पैदावार बढ़ती है। उन्होंने DBW 187, DBW 222, और HD 2967 जैसी बेहतर किस्मों के उच्च गुणवत्ता वाले बीजों का उपयोग करने की भी सिफारिश की, जिससे उत्पादन 20-25% तक बढ़ सकता है। नवंबर में 20-25 डिग्री सेल्सियस तापमान के बीच बुवाई, जीरो-टिल मशीनों जैसी आधुनिक तकनीकों का उपयोग करके अंकुरण को और बेहतर बनाता है और लागत बचाता है।
