Karnataka Doubles Pourakarmika Refreshment Allowance

Karnataka Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar announced that the state government will soon double the refreshment allowance for pourakarmikas from ₹35 to ₹70. A Cabinet sub-committee will be formed to address civic workers' demands regarding boards, welfare, and funds. The government is committed to regularizing remaining pourakarmikas and providing permanent employment. Additionally, plans include constructing Karnataka Public Schools for their children and building a pourakarmika bhavan, with ₹7.5 lakh allocated for house construction.

कर्नाटक के मुख्यमंत्री डी. के. शिवकुमार ने कहा कि राज्य सरकार जल्द ही पूरकर्मिकों का जलपान भत्ता ₹35 से बढ़ाकर ₹70 कर देगी। नागरिक कर्मचारियों की बोर्ड, कल्याण और धन संबंधी मांगों को पूरा करने के लिए एक कैबिनेट उप-समिति बनाई जाएगी। सरकार शेष पूरकर्मिकों को नियमित करने और स्थायी रोजगार देने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है। इसके अलावा, उनके बच्चों के लिए कर्नाटक पब्लिक स्कूल बनाने और एक पूरकर्मिक भवन बनाने की योजना है, जिसमें घर बनाने के लिए ₹7.5 लाख आवंटित किए गए हैं।
