80% Consumers Want Front-Of-Pack Food Warnings

A recent survey indicates that 80% of consumers desire immediate front-of-pack warning labels on food products high in sugar, salt, or fat. This preference applies even if a product exceeds the threshold for just one of these components. Consumers want these warnings implemented from the initial phase, rather than a proposed second stage by the FSSAI.

हालिया सर्वे से पता चला है कि 80% लोग खाने-पीने की चीज़ों पर तुरंत सामने चेतावनी लेबल चाहते हैं, अगर उनमें चीनी, नमक या फैट ज़्यादा हो। यह तब भी ज़रूरी है, अगर इनमें से कोई एक चीज़ भी तय सीमा से ज़्यादा हो। लोग चाहते हैं कि FSSAI इन चेतावनियों को पहले ही चरण में लागू करे, न कि प्रस्तावित दूसरे चरण में।
