Cyclone Arnab's Remnants Cause Heavy Rainfall Across Bihar

The remnants of Cyclone Arnab are causing light to moderate rainfall across Bihar, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issuing a red alert for extremely heavy rainfall in Madhubani and Sitamarhi on Friday. Orange and yellow alerts are in place for other districts, forecasting very heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds. This weather system is expected to increase rainfall activities until October 31. The IMD warns of potential waterlogging, traffic disruption, and damage to crops and trees, with maximum temperatures likely to drop.

चक्रवात अर्नाब के अवशेष बिहार में हल्की से मध्यम बारिश करा रहे हैं। भारत मौसम विज्ञान विभाग (IMD) ने शुक्रवार को मधुबनी और सीतामढ़ी में अत्यधिक भारी बारिश के लिए रेड अलर्ट जारी किया है। अन्य जिलों के लिए ऑरेंज और येलो अलर्ट जारी किए गए हैं, जिनमें भारी बारिश, गरज, बिजली गिरने और तेज हवाओं का अनुमान है। यह मौसम प्रणाली 31 अक्टूबर तक बारिश की गतिविधियों को बढ़ाने की उम्मीद है। IMD ने जलभराव, यातायात में बाधा और फसलों व पेड़ों को नुकसान की संभावना जताई है, जबकि अधिकतम तापमान में गिरावट की उम्मीद है।
