Cyclone Arnab Prompts East Coast Railway To Cancel 28 Trains

In anticipation of Cyclone Arnab, East Coast Railway (ECoR) has cancelled 28 trains as a safety precaution due to heavy rain and strong winds in Odisha. This disruption affects hundreds of passengers, including those with holiday travel plans, forcing some to postpone or cancel trips. Several key services like the Bhubaneswar-New Secunderabad Express are among those cancelled. ECoR has also partially curtailed some trains and activated its emergency response system, including setting up a Disaster Management Cell and deploying additional personnel in vulnerable sections.

चक्रवात अर्नाब के आने की आशंका के चलते, ईस्ट कोस्ट रेलवे (ECoR) ने ओडिशा में भारी बारिश और तेज हवाओं के कारण एहतियात के तौर पर 28 ट्रेनों को रद्द कर दिया है। इस वजह से सैकड़ों यात्री प्रभावित हुए हैं, जिनमें छुट्टियों में यात्रा करने वाले लोग भी शामिल हैं, और कुछ को अपनी यात्रा स्थगित या रद्द करनी पड़ी है। भुवनेश्वर-न्यू सिकंदराबाद एक्सप्रेस जैसी कई महत्वपूर्ण सेवाएं भी रद्द की गई हैं। ECoR ने कुछ ट्रेनों को आंशिक रूप से नियंत्रित भी किया है और आपदा प्रबंधन सेल की स्थापना और संवेदनशील हिस्सों में अतिरिक्त कर्मियों की तैनाती सहित अपनी आपातकालीन प्रतिक्रिया प्रणाली को सक्रिय कर दिया है।
