CBSE Reverts 10th Board Exam Passing Criteria Amidst OSM Controversy

CBSE has reversed its earlier decision to change the passing criteria for the 10th board exams. Students will now only need to secure an overall 33% marks to pass, reverting to the previous system. This change was initially planned to be implemented from the 2027-28 academic session. The decision to revert is reportedly due to the OSM controversy.

सीबीएसई ने 10वीं बोर्ड परीक्षा के पास होने के मापदंडों में बदलाव के अपने पिछले फैसले को पलट दिया है। अब छात्रों को पास होने के लिए कुल 33% अंक लाने होंगे, जो पिछले सिस्टम की तरह ही है। यह बदलाव शुरू में 2027-28 शैक्षणिक सत्र से लागू होने वाला था। ओ.एस.एम. विवाद के कारण यह फैसला पलटा गया है।
