Tiger That Killed Two Captured After 29 Days

A tiger believed to have killed two people in O’Valley, Gudalur, has been captured after a 29-day operation. The male tiger was trapped in a cage at Silver Cloud Estate on Friday morning. Forest officials verified the animal using hair samples and camera trap images. It was then transported to the Mudumalai Tiger Reserve and subsequently moved to the Arignar Anna Zoological Park in Chennai for lifelong captivity.
