Reliance Industries (RIL) shares experienced their sharpest intraday rally in nearly three years, soaring 7.12 per cent to ₹1,246.45 on Monday. This surge followed the company's strong financial performance for the quarter ended September 2026, exceeding consensus estimates. Consolidated net profit rose 40.6 per cent year-on-year to a record ₹25,548 crore, while consolidated net sales hit an all-time high of ₹3.31 trillion. The oil-to-chemicals division significantly contributed to this growth, driven by increased transportation fuel and petrochemical prices.
