Nagavali River Swells, Floods Destroy 10,000 Acres

Flash floods caused by heavy inflows into the Nagavali River have inundated north Andhra districts, leading to the loss of over 10,000 acres of crops. Vizianagaram, Srikakulam, and Parvathipuram Manyam districts are on high alert as the river's water levels are closely monitored. Banana and vegetable crops have been severely affected. Authorities have moved people from low-lying areas to safer locations and set up relief camps. The situation is being managed in coordination with Odisha officials.

नागावली नदी में भारी पानी आने से उत्तर आंध्र जिलों में बाढ़ आ गई है। इससे 10,000 एकड़ से ज़्यादा फसलें बर्बाद हो गई हैं। विजियानगरम, श्रीकाकुलम और पार्वतीपुरम मन्यम जिलों में हाई अलर्ट है और नदी के जलस्तर पर कड़ी नज़र रखी जा रही है। केले और सब्ज़ियों की फसलों को भारी नुकसान हुआ है। लोगों को निचले इलाकों से सुरक्षित जगहों पर ले जाया गया है और राहत शिविर लगाए गए हैं। ओडिशा के अधिकारियों के साथ मिलकर स्थिति संभाली जा रही है।
