कॉकक्रोच जनता पार्टी के संस्थापक अभिजीत दिपके ने मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त ज्ञानेश कुमार के इस्तीफे की मांग को लेकर विरोध प्रदर्शन जारी रखने का संकल्प लिया है। दिपके ने कहा कि अगर सरकार ऐसा रास्ता चुनती है तो वह तीन दिन नहीं, बल्कि तीन महीने जेल जाने को भी तैयार हैं। सीजेपी ने मुंबई में विरोध प्रदर्शन की घोषणा की है, और अन्य राज्यों में भी इसी तरह के आंदोलन की योजना है। दिपके ने मतदाता सूची से 13 करोड़ वोटों को संभावित रूप से हटाए जाने पर भी सवाल उठाया, जिससे निष्पक्ष चुनावों पर चिंताएं बढ़ गई हैं।
