Indian Railways Plans 24-Coach Vande Bharat Sleeper Trains With Pantry Car

Indian Railways is developing a 24-coach variant of its Vande Bharat sleeper train, designed for longer overnight journeys. The Integral Coach Factory in Chennai will manufacture 50 of these trains, with designs expected within a month and a target rollout in the first half of 2027. This new version will include a pantry car for onboard food service and an increased number of toilets. Indian Railways aims to introduce over 200 Vande Bharat sleeper trains in the coming years to enhance long-distance rail travel across the country.

रेलवे की 24 कोच वाली वंदे भारत स्लीपर ट्रेन पैंट्री कार के साथ होगी तैयार

भारतीय रेलवे अपनी वंदे भारत स्लीपर ट्रेन का 24 कोच वाला नया मॉडल बना रही है। यह लंबी रात की यात्राओं के लिए होगी। चेन्नई की इंटीग्रल कोच फैक्ट्री (ICF) ऐसी 50 ट्रेनें बनाएगी। इसका डिज़ाइन अगले एक महीने में तैयार हो जाएगा और 2027 की पहली छमाही में इसे चलाने का लक्ष्य है। इस नए मॉडल में खाने-पीने की सुविधा के लिए पैंट्री कार होगी और टॉयलेट की संख्या भी बढ़ाई जाएगी। भारतीय रेलवे आने वाले सालों में 200 से ज़्यादा वंदे भारत स्लीपर ट्रेनें चलाने की योजना बना रही है ताकि देश भर में लंबी दूरी की रेल यात्रा को बेहतर बनाया जा सके।
