Lewis Hamilton has apologised to his Ferrari team after a strategy call at the Singapore Grand Prix cost him a podium finish. He took responsibility for the decision to stay on older tires, which ultimately led to him dropping from second to sixth place. Hamilton was also unwell after the race and missed post-race media duties, though he was cleared by medical staff. Ferrari team principal Fred Vasseur confirmed that a pit stop would have secured a second and third place finish for the team.
