Egypt's Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly addressed the UN General Assembly, demanding Israel fully implement a Gaza ceasefire and cease alleged daily violations of international law. He called for Israel's complete withdrawal from Gaza, unimpeded humanitarian aid, and an explicit rejection of any Palestinian displacement. Madbouly asserted that enduring regional peace hinges on ending the occupation and establishing an independent Palestinian state. This state would be based on the June 4, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
